I finally bought a new washer and dryer....Home Depot will deliver in about a week. I can't wait to use my front loader.
The renters arrived today for Mom's house. Rachel had a mini meltdown but recovered quickly. Mom would have wanted someone nice living in her house. I just can't justify having it sit empty. Besides....it is income which we need right now because I lost my job. I was "dismissed" on April 11, 2009. I'm actually quite content with staying home. Terry is very worried about our finances, but I'm taking one day at a time. It is amazing what you can do without.
Terry is trying really hard to be a better husband and daddy. He's tried so many time before....I'll wait and see....too much to risk in trusting him completely.
June 12th we are headed to Topsail Island....let the countdown begin. I'm going to sprinkle some of Mom's remains into the ocean. It was always her favorite place to be. Sometimes I am amazed at the peace I feel about Mom. I feel her with me. I know she is content and happy with Jesus. Love you, MOM! Happy Mother's Day!
